Welcome to Beauty For Ash (BFA)! BFA originated as an answer to the need of natural hair care in Long Island, N.Y. At BFA, customers undergo an individualized and very specific hair care treatment that specifically meets their hair needs. We love educating and empowering our clients with the knowledge of their hair type and texture, beneficial hair care practices, and the ingredients and products that best suit them. BFA specializes in many different styles such as natural hair styling, updo and bridal, keratins, crotchet weaves, silk press, color, loc maintenance, interlocking, weaving, wig creation, braids and more. We are dedicated to healthy hair growth and healthy hair care. Our mission is to enhance each and every customer’s experience from the "inside out". This simply means that we strive to bring out the inner beauty from each and every customer whilst creating an atmosphere where clients can unwind, learn and thrive. BFA Salon Policy 💕All new clients must schedule a consultation before scheduling their initial hair appointment. Consultations can be scheduled on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. We do not schedule consultations on Saturdays. Please remember, a consultation does not guarantee a hair appointment. Following the successful consultation, we will then schedule your hair appointment. We understand that children may have challenging days, and if additional time is required to complete the desired style, there may be an associated price adjustment. 💕 Please be advised that no style changes are permitted within 48 hours of your service. 💕 Please note that braid services do not include a wash, condition, or blowout. These additional services must be requested and added separately. 💕 Payment is required at the time of service. We offer multiple payment options to accommodate your convenience, including cash, Apple Pay, credit/debit cards, Venmo, Cash App, and Zelle. Please note that a 3.5% convenience fee applies when paying with credit/debit cards. There are no convenience fees associated with any other payment methods. We kindly request that if you are paying for a child’s service, please come inside to submit payment before departing. 💕 We kindly request that you arrive punctually for your appointment. To ensure that we can provide the best service possible, please note that appointments delayed by more than 15 minutes may need to be rescheduled. Additionally, if you're feeling unwell, we encourage you to reschedule your appointment for a later date. 💕 For appointments exceeding 7 to 8 hours, we offer a convenient day rate of $600. Beyond the 8-hour mark, an additional hourly charge of $75 will apply. 💕 To ensure a comfortable and personalized experience for all our clients, we kindly request that you refrain from bringing additional guests to your appointment. Our space is designed to provide an intimate and focused atmosphere, and unfortunately we are unable to accommodate extra seating. 💕 To ensure a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all our clients, we kindly ask that if you'd like to listen to music, make phone calls, or browse social media during your appointment, please remember to bring your own headphones. Cancellation Policy

Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy 🛑There is a 50% cancellation fee for any no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment. Clients are allowed to reschedule their appointments up to three times. Any rescheduling after that will not be allowed and we will charge the 50% cancellation fee. 🛑All deposits submitted are nonrefundable but can be transferred if rescheduling occurs with advance notice and is not on the same day as your appointment.
